RHAR Recommends: Paranormal Romances Part 2

Banner for Red-Haired Ash Reads Recommends: Paranormal Romance

Hello! It has been a very long time since I have done a recommendation post and this month I wanted to do another post about my favorite genre, paranormal romances. Part one was actually my very first RHAR recommendation post which was two years ago now so I felt it was time to do a follow up and share some of the new paranormal romances that I have loved.

Monstrous series by Lily Mayne

I recently binge read the Monstrous series by Lily Mayne and loved it so much. Mayne has created this rich monster filled post-apocalyptic world with wonderful characters. I loved every couple in this series and can’t wait for the next book to release. So if you like monster romances, MM romances, and post-apocalyptic stories, check out this series.

Stay A Spell series by Juliette Cross

The Stay A Spell Series by Juliette Cross is about a family of sisters who find their loves, deal with paranormal issues, and make the paranormal world a better, more inclusive place. This series was a surprise for me and with each book I fell more in love with the Savoie sisters and this world. If you like witches, werewolves, vampires, grims, and other kinds of paranormals, I highly suggest this series.

RELIC series by Maz Maddox

The RELIC series by Maz Maddox is a dinosaur shifter, MM romance. The series is about a band of different dinosaur shifters who are like brothers finding their mates while trying to protect dinosaur artifacts. I really love this series and the whole idea of dinosaur shifters living among us and protecting paleontological digs. If you like shifter MM romances, I highly recommend this series.

Stallion Ridge series by Maz Maddox

The Stallion Ridge series by Maz Maddox is a weird paranormal western series with centaurs, manticores, mimics (can copy people), and all kinds of other unique paranormals set in the old west. This not only is a unique setting, but the characters are also all fascinating and very unique. Maddox does a wonderful job at creating rich worlds with great characters. If you are looking for a historical paranormal or just something a little different, I suggest checking this series out.

Honey Badger Chronicles by Shelly Laurenston

The Honey Badger Chronicles by Shelly Laurenston is a spin-off series of the Pride series, which I mentioned in Part One of my paranormal romance recommendations. This series involves the McKilligan sisters who are part honey badger and part other things. The sisters are hilarious and the first three books are their books, with Max’s (one of the sisters) friends books starting on book 4. The series is just hilarious, action packed, and at times ridiculous, and I love it. You don’t have to read the Pride series to read this series, but they do meet characters from that series.

Ancients Rising series by Katie Reus

The Ancients Rising series by Katie Reus is a post-apocalypse paranormal series that takes place after the world has been destroyed by dragons and the paranormal and humans are now trying to live in harmony and rebuild. This series mainly takes place in New Orleans and features all different kinds of paranormals and features mainly the fated mates trope. Reus has created a fascinating world that gets richer with every book and I can’t wait to see where this series goes, so I highly recommend this if you like paranormal romances.

Shadowvale series by Kristen Painter

The Shadowvale Series by Kristen Painter is about a magical town that is hidden from the world by a barrier and is filled with people who are cursed. This series is filled with all different couples who have a wide variety of curses they have to deal with. Painter does a wonderful job at creating unique magical towns and paranormal characters, so I highly recommend checking out this series, and her other series.

Kincaid Pack series by Kiki Clark

The Kincaid Pack by Kiki Clark is a MM shifter romance series that I read earlier this year and loved. It has wonderful men being all sweet and protective for their mates and their pack. The overarching story is packed with danger, magic, and polices that keep me hooked and devouring these books, so I was glad I came to this series late and could just binge it.

Standalones

Here are some bonus standalone paranormal romances that I have enjoyed. I don’t read standalones often so that’s why I never have many to recommend but here are a few.
