Hello and welcome to my second recommendation post!
This month’s recommendation topic is contemporary romances. While I mainly read paranormal, I still find myself enjoying a lot of contemporary romance books. Here are a few of my favorite contemporary books and series.
Hard Ink Series by Laura Kaye

A ex-special forces group running a renegade operation against a organized crime ring out of a tattoo shop. This series is packed full of action, romance, and a found family/brotherhood.
Warrior Fight Club series by Laura Kaye
- 4 books

If you are looking for an emotional series with veterans struggling to readjust to civilian life than this one is for you. I adore Kaye’s writing and can also count on her to write emotional and wonderful characters.
Neverland Series by Gina L. Maxwell
- 2 books
- Ongoing
This series is a retelling of Peter Pan. I really enjoyed the first book, Pan, but the second book, Hook, made me feel all the emotions and cry. Hook will forever live rent free in my heart. Forever, Captain!!
So Over the Holidays series by Erin McLellan
- 4 books
- Ongoing (I think)
This is a wonderful LGBTQIA+ holiday romance series filled with lots of kink and sex positive relationships.
Treasure Hunter Security series by Anna Hackett

- Finished series
A wonderful and action packed series with archeological digs, danger, and a lot of romance.
Vanilla Steamer (Bold Brew #4) by Crystal Lacy
A wonderful romance with two very sweet men who explore bondage and kink.
Deep Ops series by Rebecca Zanetti
- 4 books and 2 novellas
- finished series
This is a romantic suspense series featuring a band of misfits that are a secret Deep Ops unit. Oh and they are on the hunt for a serial killer.
