Hello. I am back with another recommendation post. This month I decided to do a topic that I enjoy but don’t read very often. I think most people have their favorite retelling story (mine is Beauty and the Beast) but I wanted to showcase some ones that are not often retold. So here are some retellings that I have enjoyed that are unique takes on the original.

- Steampunk Red Riding Hood series by Melanie Karsak
- Steampunk Fairy Tales series by Melanie Karsak (each book is a different retelling)
- Goblins and Snowflakes: An Elves and the Shoemaker Retelling by Melanie Karsak
- Hauntings and Humbug: A Steampunk Christmas Carol by Melanie Karsak

- Lore Olympus series by Rachel Smythe (a Hades and Persephone retelling)
- The Beauty of Being a Beast by Jennifer Estep (a Beauty and the Beast retelling)
- Radiance by Grace Draven (a Beauty and the Beast retelling)
- Eidolon by Grace Draven (a Beauty and the Beast retelling)

- Daphne and Velma series by Josephine Ruby and Morgan Baden
- Henrietta & Eleanora: A Retelling of Jekyll and Hyde by Libby Spurrier
- Heart of the Fae by Emma Hamm (a Beauty and the Beast retelling)
- The Lunar Chronicles series by Marissa Meyer (a Cinderella retelling)

- One For All by Lillie Lainoff (A Three Musketeers retelling)
- Lost Boys series by Gina L. Maxwell (formerly the Neverland series)
- Lost in the Never Woods by Aiden Thomas
- The Grimm Files series by Selene Charles (various retellings)
Have you read any of these? Or do you have any recs to add to this list?
