Title: Snared
Author: Jennifer Estep
Series: Elemental Assassin #16
Pages: 385

It’s a new week for Gin, which means more research on the members of the Circle. Unfortunately, a more immediate problem has popped up onto her radar: a missing girl. Now she is on the hunt for a serial killer and trying to save the girl before it’s too late.
This was a different one for Gin. She is on the hunt for a serial killer, not a boss of the underworld. Gin and the gang’s hunt for this killer was action packed, suspenseful, and filled with more revelations than expected. We learn all about one member of the Circle and even more questions are raised about Hugh Tucker.
One of the things I liked about this book was that we see how large Gin’s network of allies has grown. There are so many more people on her side now and providing information for her that it shows how she really is the queen of the underworld now, even if not everyone is on board yet.
Overall, this was an interesting one and I can’t wait to see what new information about the Circle is revealed in the next book.
