4 stars out of five
4 stars – It was really good

Venom was another action-packed adventure for Gin. It seems her last mission has caused some unintended side effects for Rosyln and now Gin must take out another enemy.

This book was wonderful. It was action packed, suspenseful, and full of family. Gin is struggling to deal with the file that Fletcher left behind on her family. There were a lot of revelations about her family in this one and why they were killed. It was a lot but It will be interesting to see how Gin deals with it in the next book.

Gin and the gang had their hands full with Rosyln stalker problem in this one. I love that Gin takes care of her friends and is willing to kill to protect them. This one really shows the strong family bond that Gin, Finn, and the Deveraux sisters have. They all worked together to help Gin and keep Rosyln safe. Also, Finn fighting was a surprise but I enjoyed it.

This book also finally gives us a solid relationship for Gin. Owen Greyson is a strong, protective, and determined man. I really enjoyed his reaction to Gin and what she does. Also, I love that he isn’t fazed by her and finds the weapons a turn on. Owen seems like he will potentially be a great partner for Gin, unlike Detective Caine, who really hurt her.

Overall, I really enjoyed this one and can’t wait to see Gin start her fight against Mab. Also, I need more Owen and Gin moments. They were so cute together.

Trigger Warnings: Stalking, kidnapping, threats of rape, physical abuse.
