Title: Deadly Sting
Author: Jennifer Estep
Series: Elemental Assassin #8
Pages: 404

When Finn drags Gin off to a gala event at Ashland’s fanciest art museum, she doesn’t expect for the place to be robbed and everyone taken hostage. It’s a good thing always carries her knives.
This was a heist book with a group of giants run by a woman named Clementine. I enjoyed this one because it was different from previous books. Gin isn’t on a mission to kill someone or fighting against one of the mob bosses. She was just trying to enjoy some art but instead she has to deal with the giants.
Gin and Owen are still having relationship problems in this one. They do finally talk about it though which is progress but it’s not moving fast enough for me. I hate that these two are not together right now but I know they can make it through this. I just want them to be together again so they both stop being so miserable.
Overall, this was a very enjoyable adventure for Gin and the gang. I enjoyed the heist elements and the enemies. I am very curious to see who Mab Monroe willed all her possessions to now though.
