Red-Haired Ash Reads

It’s been a few years since I read the Ice Planet Barbarian series, nor have I really keep up with all the spin-offs, but when I saw this novella I knew it was a great way to jump back into this world. This story falls after the book Romancing Rem’eb (which I haven’t read), but you don’t have to have read the Ice Planet Clone series to understand what is happening. The references just give hints at what happens in those books, so it’s perfectly ok to read this if you haven’t kept up.  

This was a cute Halloween story with Clare getting the idea to throw a Halloween party for the kids and everyone excitedly running with it. I enjoyed the holiday stories in the past and this one was just as enjoyable. There are a lot of kids now and it was the perfect holiday for all of them to have fun. Also we see another couple resonate again, so more kids in the future. 

Overall, this was short and sweet. I enjoyed it and it makes me miss this series. I probably will jump back into the spin-offs just to revisit this alien world.
