4 stars – It was really good

Police Detective Brynn Sullivan is dedicated to her job and is going undercover in a dangerous motorcycle club. Unfortunately, she has an unwanted protector in the city’s most lethal man, Vander Norcross.

Vander has been the one character throughout this series that probably almost everyone has wanted to see fall in love. Well, his book was great. Vander has been the protective and deadly older Norcross sibling throughout this series but with this book we finally see a softer side to him. He is still deadly, but he lets his guard down around Brynn and we finally see why he is so paranoid about security.

Brynn was a great heroine. She was smart, sassy, could kick ass, and wasn’t afraid to stand up to Vander. She knows she wants Vander and refuses to let him push her away, which is just what he needed. Brynn was just a great detective and a great partner for Vander. She saw the real him and understood his driving need to protect his family and friends.

These two had a very steamy and intense relationship filled with danger and suspense. I enjoyed their determination to bring down the drug dealers. Brynn was a very good undercover cop and was great at blending into new roles. I really enjoyed these two’s relationship and their mission to bring down the drug dealers. It just showed how great of a team these two are and I really can’t wait to see what shenanigans they will get into in the future.

Also I enjoyed the bonus epilogue and how it shows how much trouble these two could be in the future. I also can’t wait to see Hunt and his brothers fall in love now that we know they will be the next siblings in this series to find love.
