4 stars – It was really good

When Blaise set out to photograph some fossils for social media he never expected to see a real dinosaur or to go on a road trip with one. Which is how Blaise and Royal end up cruising across Canada to try and find a missing shifter and a fossil thief.

This was another fun story filled with dinos and danger. I really liked Blaise. He has had a rough time but man does he have all kinds of courage and strength. He wasn’t afraid to stand up to dinosaurs, mercenaries, or anything else that got in his way. I just really loved him. Royal is the tech guy for RELIC and doesn’t usually end up in the field. I liked him as well but I think Blaise’s character stands out more in this book.

I am glad that we finally see them finding a new shifter. I do wonder how the Albertosaurus will play into future books since he has to learn everything about being human. I really hope we get Montana’s book soon because man that scary T-rex needs some love.

Overall, this was a very enjoyable shifter romance. I fell in love with this couple as soon as they started flirting with Ninja Turtle references and I enjoyed their adventure. Now I can’t wait to see who is going to fall in love next.
