3 stars – I liked it

Baha is sent on a mission to acquire the original Spinosaurus fossil that has been missing for decades. Unfortunately, it means being Jackson’s fake fiancé and dealing with his deadly ex.

“You are the most beautiful thing I’ve seen in sixty-five million years.”

This was another fun and romantic adventure with dinosaurs. Baha was a grumpy and serious man who didn’t really enjoy humanity. I really liked him and his grumpiness. He had a surprisingly soft side once he let Jackson in, and it made me love him even more.  I also found his dinosaur side interesting and love it’s courting gift to Jackson. Jackson is a fun and flirty man who really embraces humanity and the fun it can bring. He helps Baha relax and find some fun in his life, which he really needed.

These two were at odds for a lot of this book but I still enjoyed the progression of their relationship.  I also enjoyed the fight to acquire the fossils but it did get a little over the top at times, but like I said, still enjoyable. I really can’t wait to read the next book to see who falls in love next.
