4 stars out of five
4 stars – It was really good

This book was different from the previous books because it doesn’t consist of just one couples POV. In this we have almost all the couples POV’s as they take an island vacation for Xander and Butch’s wedding.

This was a really enjoyable story and I loved that we got so many points of views. It was great checking in with all the couples and seeing new changes happening for them. We get to see Balthasar finally gain abilities from his inventus bond with Zion, Kai and Violentia hook up, Kai’s pregnancy and how it’s affecting her, a murder mystery, and of course the wedding of Xander and Butch.

I think my favorite part of this was Violentia and Kai’s relationship because I have been eager to learn more about Violentia since the first book. While I did enjoy what we got of it, I wish there was more because I want to know more about this Suarez sibling and Xander’s best friend Kai. Also I really liked how Violentia protected and took care of Kai. It was so sweet.

The wedding was ridiculous but also very sweet in the end. I love how we saw Butch finally stand up for what he wanted and salvage the day to what was perfect for him. It was very sweet and I love seeing these two so happy together.

Overall, this was just another great book for this series and a fun little conclusion for the series. I would totally read more stories with this family.

TW: abusive parents mentioned; biphobia briefly referenced; pregnancy; murder;
