Title: Desert Destiny
Author: Anna Lowe
Series: The Wolves of Twin Moon Ranch #7
Pages: 188

Andrea is an independent woman who doesn’t need a man. But she does enjoy spending time with a male wolf that keeps coming to her property. Wolf shifter Roy has spent years in his wolf form avoiding civilization and his old pack. But he keeps being pulled to Andrea and he quickly realizes it’s because destiny is telling him she’s his mate.
Roy and Andrea had an enjoyable fated mates relationship. Andrea is instantly attracted to Roy but keeps her distance because of his potential to be a criminal, since she found him breaking into a trailer. I actually liked that Andrea didn’t automatically jump into his arms and we see her learn to trust him first. Roy has spent years as a shifter because he couldn’t deal with the grief of his brother’s death. I enjoyed that we see him struggle to adjust to being a human again since it has been years since he was human.
The whole situation with the murders and the skinwalker conspiracy was interesting. I enjoyed how it progressed and how it helped bring Andrea and Roy together. Overall, this was a very enjoyable fated mates romance, especially since Roy was just briefly mentioned once in a previous book so I never expected a story about him.
TW: mild harassment and misogyny at work; death of a sibling; alcoholic parent mentioned;
