Author: Anna Lowe
Series: The Wolves of Twin Moon Ranch #6
Pages: 176

Carly Hawthorn is the youngest of the Hawthorne shifters and she doesn’t believe in true love, even though she sees it with her siblings every time she visits. But when she meets bad boy Luke Brandsetter, she realizes there is something about him that she and her wolf can’t resist.
After meeting Carly and her daredevil ways in the previous books I was very interested in seeing who she ended up with. Luke is a bad boy trying to turn over a new leaf. He knows he should stay away from Carly, but both him and his wolf don’t want to give her up.
I really enjoyed Carly and Luke’s story. These two both have issues with commitment and are determined to keep this as a one night stand. Fate refuses to let that happen and pushes them together again when Luke arrives at the Twin Moon Ranch. Their relationship was quick and fast, but enjoyable overall. There is a bit of third act breakup but it’s relatively quick because they both realize they need to talk it out now run from what is happening.
Overall, this was another enjoyable story. I like that we finally see all the Hawthorne children have their HEA’s. Also it will be interesting to see how these change the North Ridge pack in future books.
TW: violent death of sibling and parents recounted (including suicide); child homelessness recounted;
