Red-Haired Ash Reads

Pia’s latest pregnancy has become taxing on her and isn’t smooth sailing like her first. It also isn’t helping that her and Dragos’s relationship is strained from arguments. This hasn’t stopped them from traveling to Las Vegas to celebrate their friend Rune’s wedding. But the trip quickly goes awry when Pia is kidnapped and the enemy plans on destroying the Great Beast. 

This was a very emotional novella for Pia and Dragos. They are having a rough patch in their relationship, this pregnancy has been hard on Pia, and she gets kidnapped. As you can imagine, this enrages Dragos and he goes on a rampage to find any information on her whereabouts. This story really shows that while Dragos has changed since he met Pia, he is still the Giant Beast inside who is just waiting to destroy everyone who hurts those he loves. I did really enjoy the whole adventure of the kidnapping and rescue. It kept me hooked to the story and I devoured this really quickly. 

This story also features a lot of change. Pia and Dragos have had a lot of upheaval since they got together and Dragos is realizing he isn’t happy with his life anymore. I liked that these two are working together to build a future where they will be happy, especially after all the things they have been through. 

Overall, this was another great novella of the Elder Races and I am really interested in seeing what happens next for Dragos and Pia.
