3 stars – I liked it

This volume was filled with a lot of plot twists, reveals, and danger. It was interesting but also confusing. We meet Maika’s father and learn more about why her mother might have left him. Like I said, this got a bit confusing and now it’s hard to tell who is good or bad, or if that is even relevant anymore.

Trigger Warnings: graphic violence, death, torture, experimentation, enslavement, kidnapping
