5 stars – I loved it!

Trigger Warnings: sexual trauma, mental abuse, toxic relationships

Ugh I adore these two! Hades is trying so hard to take care of Persephone and not fall in love with her! I just loved all the pining and arguments he was having with himself. I love revisiting the beginning of this series because it reminds me of all the little moments between these two and how sweet Hades is.

Also, the additional bonus short story about the fur coat makes me hate Apollo even more!

This was another emotional one! Persephone is dealing with a lot in this volume: jealousy, PTSD, her first crush, and fear. She has grown a lot since the first volume and continues to become a stronger, more independent person. Hades was adorable in this volume. He is falling hard for her but is trying so hard to be a gentleman and not pressure her. He is also dealing with his toxic behaviors by falling back into Minthe’s easy embrace. Hades and Persephone are adorable together and I can’t wait to see their relationship grow in future volumes.

Also, as always, the art style and color choices in this comic are beautiful and really bring this wonderful world to life.

Trigger warnings: discussion of rape; PTSD
