4 stars – It was really good

Raised to be an emotionless killing machine, Nathan is one of the most lethal Breed vampires in the Order. He always executes his missions with precision and a lack of mercy. But his discipline is no match against the beautiful Jordana Gates.

I really am loving this series. Nathan may have been a child when he was freed from Dragos control but harsh training he received never left him. He is detached and doesn’t allow anyone close. I loved that he finally opened up and let someone close. Jordana has a life of privilege but she finds herself trapped by expectations. With Nathan she can finally be herself, which is a wonderful, kind, and smart woman. I liked the contrast between these two a lot, yes it’s a common one but it really worked for this couple.

The new direction this series is taking is fascinating. I am really loving it, and all the new characters that have been introduced. I especially love it since we are finally getting answers about the Atlanteans and how they play a part in this world. I can’t wait to start the next book and see what is going to happen next.
