3 stars – I liked it

Toni Jean-Louis Parker is the responsible and organized sister of ten crazy and brilliant jackal siblings. She has spent her life taking care of them and now she has the opportunity to start her own life, but will they let her.

Toni was a very caring, smart, and organized woman. I really liked her. She knew how to get things done and could deal with even the most difficult people. Ricky Lee is one of the many Reed brothers and is a very chill and goofy wolf. He is instantly attracted to Toni and doesn’t let her push him away with her crazy siblings.

I liked these two but at times I felt that Ricky Lee was kind of a boring and flat character. He was so “chill” that he just disappeared behind all of the Parker or Reed siblings. I still liked Ricky but he definitely is not a favorite from this series. Also I found it very easy to get the Reed siblings confused because their names all start with an R.

My favorite part of this book, outside of the crazy siblings, was the introduction of honey badger shifter Livy. She seems like a great friend and a crazy shifter. I can’t wait to learn more about her and her family.
