4 stars – It was really good

Pandora Williams is Nocturne Falls most successful real estate agent, but also their least successful witch. Her magic never has the intended outcome and she has learned to live with it. When a teenage witch and her sexy father enter Pandora’s life her quiet life with her cat quickly changes. Now she just has to convince Cole Van Zant that witches are real.

I really enjoyed Pandora and Cole’s story. They had a slow building romance that was a nice break from the previous instalove stories. Cole is a very straight-laced, regimented man who doesn’t believe in anything magical. So he struggles to deal with his teenage daughter and Pandora stating they are witches. It takes a major event to make him realize paranormals are real. Cole’s skepticism and doubts were very believable and actually made him a better character in my opinion. I get tired of characters always accepting paranormals instantly so Cole was a nice change of pace.

Pandora was a very sweet and kind woman. The Van Zant family unexpectedly burst into her life but she quickly fell for both of them. She was great with Cole’s daughter Kelsey and very supportive of her feelings. The William’s family were great additions to the story. I loved the family bond between them all and how supportive they were. I really hope we see more of the William’s in future books.

This might be my favorite of the series so far. I loved the slow building romance, the family bonding, and the dangerous magic that they deal with.
