5 out of 5 stars
5 stars – I loved it!

john, Caleb, and the rest of the gang are now racing to stop SPECTR Agent Graham Forsyth who has an army of demons and is planning something even bigger. On top of that, John is dealing with the fallout of his best friend’s betrayal and learning that his other friend Tiffany, was actually a mole for the Vigilant group who don’t believe in destroying all demons.

This was a fantastic ending to a series, even if it’s not really the end for these two.  After six books, John, Caleb, and Gray are now an actual thruple (poly). I loved how well Caleb and Gray transitioned between each other now and have no problem switching during their relationship when they can tell that John needs comfort from a specific one of them. These three just are a fantastic couple and I can’t get enough of them! I am eager to jump into the next series and see how their relationship has progressed and what kind of cases they end up dealing with.

The action in this one was nonstop. From the beginning, Caleb and John are racing against the clock to try and find out what Forsyth is up to and how they can stop him. This leads to a huge battle filled with hundreds of possessed demons and a one on one battle between Forsyth and Gray. I devoured this book because of how intense and action packed it was. I just had to know what would happen next, which led to this being read in only a few hours. I really love the way Jordan L. Hawk has blended all these paranormal elements with a fantastic and unique poly romance.

Overall, this was a fantastic book and series. I have spent all week devouring this series and I plan to jump right into Series 2 to continue John, Caleb, and Gray’s story. I am so happy we are getting more books with these two and I can’t wait to see what they will deal with next.

TW; brief mention of past suicide attempt; kidnapping; on page death of a parent; grief; death; gore; human sacrifice;
