Title: Reaper of Souls
Author: Jordan L. Hawk
Series: SPECTR #3
Pages: 135

In this one, Caleb and John are dealing with an incubus murdering allies of an anti-paranormal senator. The threat of more dangerous legislation against paranormals is rising and Caleb is finally realizing the importance of fighting for paranormal rights.
This series continues to build a unique world of paranormals with interesting cases and characters. The case with the incubus was interesting and showed how money and power can easily corrupt people. I wasn’t really surprised by who was behind all the attacks in this, but I still really enjoyed it.
Caleb and John continue to grow stronger as a couple and we see some great development in their characters. Caleb is starting to realize that SPECTR might not be the bad guys and is starting to realize the importance of fighting for paranormal rights. Gray is starting to understand humans a bit more and his protectiveness towards John and Caleb are growing. The biggest thing though is that John is starting to realize he is attracted to Gray as well and that he doesn’t want to exorcise Gray because that means he will be killing him.
Overall, this was another great addition to this series. I have really enjoyed the series so far and look forward to reading the next few books. I am really curious to see how John, Caleb, and Gray’s relationship pans out and what case they will be dealing with next.
