This is the revised and extended version of this book that was previously self-published by the author in 2022. My review for the original self-published book can be found here.
After a wedding cake disaster, Tegan finds herself being helped by a hulking and handsome wolven named Atlas. She is instantly charmed by him and finds herself doing everything she can to spend time with him. But can their human-wolven relationship work out?
Well this was an adorable and sexy romance between a fitness obsessed wolven and a human baker. Tegan was a wonderful heroine who I really enjoyed, especially since he was comfortable in her body unlike many plus size heroines in romance stories. She was fun, spunky, caring and protective. I really enjoyed getting to know her as this story progressed and seeing her learn to let go of the tight grip she had on her business and fall in love. Also, I loved how protective she got of Atlas when he was dealing with his abusive ex-girlfriend.
Atlas was so adorable. I loved him so much. He was sweet, kind, and a little protective. I really enjoyed how hard he fell for Tegan and that he took so good care of her. It was just so cute. Atlas did have some body issues leftover from childhood and his abusive ex, but being with Tegan healed some part of him that allowed him to loosen his eating and workout habits, which I was glad to see. Also his tail! I loved that his tail was always wagging around her!
Tegan and Atlas had a very fast relationship because she is Atlas’s fated mate. The steam is there from the very beginning and I really loved how their relationship played out. I really liked that there was no second act break up or tension between these two. They just had an adorable and sweet romance from the very beginning.
This is the new version of this book and I think the author did a fantastic job with enhancing the story. There is so much more character development and relationship development in this version, that it really made me love these characters even more than I did originally. Also, the sex was even steamier!
Overall, this was a wonderful and adorable monster romance. I was hooked from the very beginning to Tegan and Atlas’ story and found myself smiling so much while reading this. I can’t wait to reread the rest of the series to see how the author will enhance and expand the next two books.
