Title: Smitten by the Alien Saloon Owner
Author: Ursa Dax
Series: Cowboy Colony Mail-Order Brides #7
Pages: 184

Tasha, the human-Zabrian liaison, is determined to find all the single men on Zabria Prinar One. To start with she decides to create a calendar showing off the men, both married and single, and provide accurate information about the program this time. When Shiloh sees the calendar after getting fired from her job, she jumps at the chance to start a new life, even if it means becoming a bride.
Like the previous books in this series, I was instantly hooked on this story. Shiloh was a fantastic heroine who has been struggling for a long time. She lost her father and her dream of going to school for art. She has been struggling to make ends meet for a while now and the stress is causing extreme migraines. Shiloh was a woman I could really relate to as a migraine sufferer myself, and as someone who struggles under the constant weight of work with little reward (like most people these days probably feel). As the story progresses we see her really blossom and release the stress she has been under, which allows her to embrace her new life. I just really liked Shiloh and really related to her.
Rivven is our one handed bartender who realizes he really wants the chance to have a wife. I really loved Rivven. He was sweet, protective, and took such good care of Shiloh. These men have never dealt with headaches or migraines before but Rivven does everything he can to support and help Shiloh through hers, which I really loved about him.
Rivven and Shiloh’s relationship was so freaking sweet. Shiloh is supposed to get to know all the men before choosing but from the beginning she is instantly smitten by Rivven. I really enjoyed how these two got to know each other and fell so hard and fast. It was just adorable. Also, I liked that there were no hard feelings from the other men and that they were excited that one of them had found a wife successfully. They are just a very supportive found family and I love it.
Overall, this was another fantastic book for this series. I continue to love all the couples and can’t wait to see more men find wives.
