5 stars – I loved it!

This volume continues Hoshina’s battle against Kaiju No. 12. This is a very interesting battle and it’s the first time we have seen Hoshina go all out. We see new techniques and how Hoshina is utilizing the number 10 weapon. I really enjoyed this battle and how we also learned a little bit of Hoshina’s past during the battle.

This volume ends with Mina taking on Kaiju No. 14 and doing what she does best. Afterwards, wave three of Kaiju No. 9’s attack begins and we learn his plans and his true target during this attack. This was a very surprising ending because I wasn’t expecting that reveal on who Kaiju No. 9 was targeting.

5 stars – I loved it!

In this volume we see Kaiju No. 9 start implementing his plan and that partially involves Mina. We finally see Reno, Iharu, and the other members of Division Three enter the battle and they all have new gear and are a lot stronger. We also finally get to see Kaiju No. 8 enter the fight against Kaiju No. 9.

This volume was full of surprises and I couldn’t stop reading. I cannot wait to see what will happen next in this fight against Kaiju No. 9 and all his daikaiju creatures. It has been a hell of a battle so far.
