4 stars – It was really good

This volume contains chapters 180-206 of the webtoon comic.

This volume continues with Persephone’s trial and punishment for her act of wrath in the mortal world. The trial was very interesting and thrilling because we see Hades really stand up to his brother. The fall out from this trial was devastating for Persephone and Hades and it splits them up, which leads to a war between Zeus and Hades.

Hades and Persephone’s relationship continues to grow stronger in this and Hades finally learns about what happened between Persephone and Apollo. I really love that we get to see Hades go all “you touched her now you die” but what made the whole thing perfect was that he listened to what Persephone actually needed and just supported her.

The ending of this volume was unexpected. I love that Persephone finally said fuck it and fought for Hades. The situation in the underworld was dangerous and captivating. I really can’t wait to read the next volume now, especially after we saw how powerful Persephone became for a moment there.
