Title: Desert Fate
Author: Anna Lowe
Series: The Wolves of Twin Moon Ranch #3
Pages: 196

Kyle Williams doesn’t know what to do with his week off. But when a brown-eyed girl from his past turns up clearly experiencing the change, his instinct is to protect her and save her from a rival pack.
Like the previous books, I enjoyed this story but wanted a bit more out of it. Stefanie is on the run and finds herself in the area of Twin Moon Ranch and in the arms of Kyle Williams, the boy she hasn’t seen in 15 years. Kyle and Stefanie had feelings for each other when they were kids but nothing happened at that time. Now they are together and are fated mates, but Stefanie doesn’t understand what that means. These two fought their feelings for each other because of the other pack being after Stefanie.
While I enjoyed the relationship, I did have a few issues about it. Stefanie is new to being a changeling and doesn’t know anything about being a wolf shifter. Instead of explaining everything to her and this why she is being hunted by the pack that turned her, Kyle and the Twin Moon pack just give her small bits of information when necessary. If they had explained everything about being a wolf and mates to her from the beginning things would have been so much better for her.
Because these two have a bit of history, I wanted more discussions on their feelings and futures. Basically, I wanted a bit more from this book, and the previous books, in terms of relationship building.
TW: attempted forced mating and threat of rape; death of parents mentioned;
