Title: Dracula’s on the Night Shift
Author: Satoshi Wagahara
Pages: 463
Released: November 26, 2024

This follows the life of vampire Yura Toraki, a night shift convenience store worker. While running late heading home one day he ends up rescuing a woman being attacked by vampires leading to unlikely friendship.
Yura and Iris’ adventures hunting phantoms, being roommates, and hunting Yura’s creator was interesting but also a bit anticlimactic in the end. I liked the idea of this world and the friendship between these two, especially since Iris is a Dark Cross Knight who hunts phantoms.
What I didn’t love was Iris and Miharu’s constant fighting over Yaru. Miharu came across as a bit of a stalker in a way with how obsessed she was with getting Yaru’s love. My other issue was the ending to this. The fight against his creator, Aika Muroi, was cool at first but had an anticlimactic ending. I was expecting more from the ending of this story after they hyped up this battle.
Overall, this was fine but I am just a bit disappointed in it.
