4 stars – It was really good

Dragos and Pia need a vacation so they head to Bermuda in the hope they can relax and take a break from running the wyr demise. But their vacation isn’t as relaxing as expected. Between hunting for sunken treasure, dealing with Liam’s burgeoning abilities and dealing with pushy treasure hunters, they don’t get a lot of peace.

This was a really wonderful little novella. Dragos and Pia are finally getting a bit of a break and this is kind of like their honeymoon since that was interrupted by the birth of Liam. Dragos gets a chance to hunt for sunken treasure and Pia gets to spend time with Liam on the beach. I really loved seeing this couple relax and take a moment for themselves because they don’t get a lot of that.

The really fascinating part of this book was that we get Liam’s POV for the first time and his abilities are finally starting to show. He has his first shift and shows some of the magic he inherited. Also he finds trouble that leads to Dragos and Pia frantic and raging. I am really interested in Liam’s growth and what will happen next with him since he seems to be growing quickly.

Overall, this was a wonderful novella  and I want more stories with this couple and their son.
