Red-Haired Ash Reads

When Chloe was kidnapped by aliens she never expected to end up on a prison planet. But after she accidentally kills a high ranking alien, she finds herself being shipped to Haven’s prison system and stranded with some of the most ruthless criminals in the galaxy. She knows she isn’t safe but a former assassin steps in and protects her. 

This was an enjoyable and quick alien romance. Chloe’s situation just keeps getting worse but when she is thrown in a cell with some of the worst criminals as punishment, she instead finds a protector. Jutari instantly knew Chloe was his as soon as he saw her. When she is thrown in his cell, he instantly steps up to protect her and sets his plan into motion to get them out of there. These two have a very fast paced/instant love relationship that grows as they deal with the danger they are in. 

Overall, this was a good standalone alien romance and I enjoyed Chloe and Jutari’s story. I am interested in reading more of the Corsairs books now so I can get to know Jutari’s criminal brother.
