4 stars – It was really good

Darcy has been raised by her wealthy family to be only one thing: a wife. So when her parents pick a fiance that turns out to be a creep, she turns him down and finds herself disowned. Desperate, she signs up as an alien mail-order bride. Fallon is nothing like she expected but everything she needs.

“Being sent here saved my life. Marrying you completed it.”

This was another wonderful alien romance. I loved Fallon and Darcy’s story. Darcy is a woman who doesn’t really know herself because she has spent her life bowing down to her mother’s will. She knows how to be the best wife but she quickly realizes she doesn’t have to be that, she can just be herself for once. I really liked seeing Darcy’s walls come down and show Fallon her true self. Also, I loved that she stood up to her mother  and closed out that part of her life.

Fallon is a sweet, honest, and adorably derpy alien who fell hard and fast for Darcy. He goes out of his way to make sure she has everything she could want. I just loved how he took care of her, especially making sure her hair would stay pink. Fallon was just the sweetest and best himbo and I loved him.

Overall, this was another fantastic story and I can’t wait to read Marigold’s story next. I really loved this world and Dax’s writing so I am not going to jump into reading her other alien series to see if I like that.
