4 stars – It was really good

This book contains chapters 153-179 of the webtoon comic.

In this volume, we pick up with Persephone trying to fix Minthe, but it doesn’t really work. Since Persephone is struggling so much, she attends therapy for the first time and actually starts to work through the trauma of being raped and the stress her mother puts on her. I love seeing her finally seek out help and realize that she should be living her life the way she wants to, not her mother.

Zeus’ trial against Persephone and Demeter starts as well. It reveals new information and informants. This is also when Demeter finds out Persephone has been hanging out with Hades and she isn’t happy at all. This volume ends with a big reveal during the trial and now we have to wait and see how that affects Hades and Persephone’s growing relationship.

Overall, this was another emotional and intense volume. I love the progression of this story and the growth of Persephone and Hades. They have both changed so much since the first chapter and I can’t wait to see how their relationship progresses.
