Title: Jujutsu Kaisen Vol. 11: The Shibuya Incident: Opening
Author: Gege Akutami
Series: Jujutsu Kaisen Chapters 89-97
Pages: 192

This continues the Shibuya story with Gojo being attacked by Mahito, Choso, and Jogo. This was an interesting battle and Gojo really shows how dangerous his abilities can be when he uses his domain expansion immeasurable void. Unfortunately, this was what Geto has been waiting for and now Gojo is trapped in a prison realm waiting for rescue. I am very surprised by Gojo’s capture and can’t wait to see how he eventually gets released.
While this is going on Yuji is warned by Mechamaru that Gojo has been captured and sets about alerting the other teams of the change in plans. Fushiguro, Yuji, and Ino set out to take down the curtain and the ones protecting it. Seeing Fushiguro and Yuji battle together is great and I love seeing how far these two have come since the first volume. Ino and his abilities are extremely interesting and I am eager to see how he goes about defeating granny and her grandson who has seemed to become Toji Fushiguro.

Title: Jujutsu Kaisen Vol. 12: The Shibuya Incident: Cloudfall
Series: Jujutsu Kaisen Chapters 98-106
Pages: 192

This volume continues the Shibuya Incident with Yuji and Fushiguro taking down the curtain that prevents sorcerers from entering the subway. While they have finished up the fight Nanami has found Ijhichi injured by Shigemo and the other assistant managers dead by his hand. Nanami then goes and kicks the shit out of Shigemo for what he has done and I loved it. I loved seeing calm Nanami lose his shit for once.
Itadori is confronted by Choso who is determined to kill him for the deaths of his brothers. Their battle was very interesting because of Choso’s abilities. In the end Choso gets the upper hand on Itadori but comes away with his memories being changed. This was a bit weird and it wasn’t explained why this was happening so it’s just one of those random moments where I am like wtf.
Overall, this volume was enjoyable and I liked seeing Nanami lose his shit and the fight between Itadori and Choso, but I don’t really care about Mei Mei at this point and some of the in between stuff wasn’t as interesting.
