5 stars – I loved it!

“We were always so different. So much alike. I miss my brothers. So much. And I miss my father. More than anything else, I wanted to make him proud. In the end…too little, too late. Story of my life.”

This was an emotional, gritty, and dark Turtles graphic novel. In the future, Michelangelo is the only turtle left alive and the city is controlled by The Foot. I really enjoyed this story, even though it was also very depressing and sad. Seeing him struggle with everything that has happened to him and being so alone was heartbreaking. I just wanted to hug him so many times! This was just an emotional story that is going to stick with me for a long time.

Also, I am very curious if there will be more to this series after the ending.

Trigger warnings: death of family, PTSD, suicide attempt
