Title: Jujitsu Kaisen Vol. 5: Kyoto Sister-School Goodwill Event
Author: Gege Akutami
Series: Jujutsu Kaisen Ch. 35-43
Pages: 192

The Kyoto Sister-School Goodwill event continues with Kyoto vs Jujutsu High students. The fights in this are great and I am loving all of these characters, even the Kyoto students. We see so many cool new abilities and how strong some of these characters can be. I really loved seeing what Panda can do since he has been a bit of a mystery in his abilities so far. Maki really wowed me with how deadly she can be with her cursed weapons and that she has no problem fighting in close quarters or at a distance. I loved seeing her take down her sister.
Yuji and Todo are still fighting as well. I really love Todo because he is crazy strong but also a bit weird at the same time. I loved that he just automatically considers Yuji a friend and is teaching him how to be a better fighter while they are fighting. I can’t wait to see what happens next during this goodwill event.

Title: Jujitsu Kaisen Vol. 6: Black Flash
Series: Jujutsu Kaisen Ch. 44-52
Pages: 192

During the Kyoto Sister-School Goodwill event the students find themselves stuck in a barrier with a horde of special grade curses who are determined to cause some deaths and damage. While there are a lot of injuries, we see Yuji and Todo step up and take on the special grade curse Hanami, which ends up being a great battle. I loved seeing Todo and Yuji work together and grow stronger while fighting Hanami. Hanami was a fascinating villain and I really liked their abilities. Also I love how Yuji just instantly accepted Todo’s claim of being his best friend and now they are just bros.
We also finally get to see more of what Gojo can do. He breaks the barrier and then does a massive attack to stop the special grade curses. I really hope we see Gojo fight more in the future because his abilities are so cool and deadly.
