4 stars – It was really good

This was a wonderful story about falling for your best friend’s little brother. Jeremy agrees to let his brother’s friend remodel his house but never expects to fall for the hot construction worker. Unfortunately, he barely will talk to him or look him in the eye. But as the renovations finish up, Jeremy realizes how much he had fallen for Declan.

Declan was a wonderful and shy man who was instantly attracted to Jeremy but freezes up when it comes to talking to him. I adored how awkward and sweet Declan was. He was such a cinnamon roll hero with a heart of gold. I adored watching him work up the courage to talk to Jeremy and be awkward around him. Declan is definitely one of my favorite characters of Clark’s now.

Jeremy is an outgoing guy who hides his vulnerabilities. Jeremy and Declan’s relationship took a bit of time to start because of some miscommunication, but once that was figured out, they jumped all in and didn’t let go. These two had a fast, intense and quick relationship that was overflowing with love. I really enjoyed these two and their epilogue.
