Title: Born Wild
Author: Julie Ann Walker
Series: Black Knights Inc #5
Pages: 385

Eve Edens is pretty sure someone is trying to kill her. Unfortunately the police believe everything is a coincidence, so she has to turn to the Black Knight Inc for help. Now she has to work with the one man she has loved and lost, William “Wild Bill” Reichert.
Eve and Bill’s story is one that I was eager to read because I wanted the whole story of what happened to these two. From the moment Eve was introduced the tension between these two has been intense. It’s been twelve years since they were together but you can feel that there is still something there between them, it’s just buried under what happened. Eve and Bill’s relationship was very emotional because they had to work through all the heartache and at times I didn’t think they were going to get past what happened.
On top of this emotional relationship, we also had these two working together to figure out who was trying to kill Eve. I was very surprised by what they uncovered and who the final culprit was. Between this very emotional relationship and the intense plot, this made for a very captivating story that was hard to put down.
Overall, I did enjoy Bill and Eve’s story. My only real complaint with this one was that we don’t get to see very much of the Black Knights and the previous couples.
