5 stars – I loved it!

I am so happy that we got another Wyn and Danny story, but this one was from Wyn’s POV!!! After reading the previous books in this series I was a bit sad that the characters would not get to live forever together, especially since the monsters have been waiting thousands of years to find their one. But this book changes all that!

Wyn and Danny have been traveling the US destroying any of the parasites they find. As they come closer to the tear, Wyn realizes there might be a chance to have forever with Danny. I loved that we finally got to see more of Wyn’s POV of his and Danny’s relationship and his insecurities. He is terrified of losing Danny or for him to change his mind and leave him. It really made his character so much better to actually see more of his emotions and of course, all his love for Danny.

“I love you, Wyn….I’m so glad I met you. And that I get to spend the next few thousand years with you,”

This book also gives us our first look at the monster’s home world and it was fascinating. I loved learning more about Wyn, his world, and the different monsters and creatures. The whole ritual to tie their lives together was simple but the location was fascinating. I really want to know more about the Mabs now and how they can tie people’s lives together. Overall, this was a wonderful novella that just made me happy and I can’t wait to see more of these two.
