“Okay… so I’m attracted to an alien. Go figure. Learn something new about yourself everyday I suppose.”
Well this was a wonderful surprise! I loved Ardalon and Sasha’s story so much. After being sucked through a black hole, engineer Sasha Robinson wakes to find herself a prisoner of alien poachers. While she may be a prisoner, she refuses to give up and is determined to escape, with or without the help of the cat alien named Ardalon.
Like I said, I loved this book. Sasha was such a wonderful heroine. She was smart, determined, and never gave up fighting. I loved seeing her save herself and showing the aliens not to underestimate unknown creatures. Sasha is used to being on her own and taking care of everything but she slowly opens up to Ardalon and it was beautiful. I loved watching Ardalon take care of her and spoil her.
Ardalon was sweet, possessive, and a wonderful guy. I loved that while he was possessive, he wasn’t overbearing or controlling. It was just so sweet seeing him pamper and spoil Sasha. I also loved that he loved how strong she was. He never tried to change her but instead just supports her and shows her that she doesn’t always have to do things alone. Also, I really loved watching these two navigate their different cultures and languages.
Overall, this was an absolutely amazing alien romance! I am excited to read more of this series and author.
