Dark Alpha’s Silent Night (Reapers #12.5)
3 stars – I liked it
The reapers have been dealing with a lot lately and they know danger is still lurking out there. With the holiday coming up, they decide at the last minute to throw a Christmas party and celebrate the happiness and love they have found.
This was a cute and short novella. It was filled with love, happiness, and some sadness. I really enjoyed seeing all the reapers relax for once and just be a family celebrating the holidays. The Christmas trees were awesome in this book and I love how the men took the time to make them unique.
Overall, this was short, cute, and the perfect novella for the holiday season.
My Fiery Valentine (Dark Kings #18.9)
3 stars – I liked it
This is a very short Valentines day story with V and Claire celebrating their happiness at surviving the birth of their daughter. This was very sweet and heartwarming. I love how all the dragons are fighting to take care of the baby and are giving her cute nicknames. Also I just love how they always band together to help each other out, no matter what the circumstances are.
Shards of Hope (Dark Kings short)
3 stars – I liked it
This was a short scene with Ulrik and Eilish visiting Ulrick’s past and finding that they have always been destined for each other. I really love this couple so it was great getting a little scene with them, even if it was a bit of a sad one. I really want to give Ulrick a hug for all he has endured.
A Warrior for Christmas (Dark Warriors #10)
3 stars – I liked it
This is a collection of short scenes featuring the couples of the Dark Swords and Dark Warriors series. This basically is all of them gathering at Castle MacLeod for a Christmas/ winter solstice celebration. I enjoyed seeing all them gather together and finally accept Dale into their group. Some of these couples have been together for over 100 years so it was kind of nice to see how strong their love still is, and their struggles with buying gifts for each other. Also, there are Christmas themed recipes in between each story which was a nice bonus.
