Title: Witches Get Stuff Done
Author: Molly Harper
Narrators: Amanda Ronconi, Teddy Hamilton
Series: Starfall Point #1
Length: 8 hrs and 23 mins

I really enjoyed this one. Riley was a woman who has spent her life trying to find a place to belong. She comes to Starfall Point to get away from her father and deal with the grief of her mothers unexpected passing. Instead she finds herself inheriting a haunted house and finding out she can talk to ghosts.
Riley was a very fun heroine to get to know. She was snarky, smart, and adaptable. While she does freak out about her new situation, she still accepts it pretty quickly and dives into helping ghosts. I really liked seeing her find her place in this small town and find friends for the first time. While this is the first book, we do see a lot of progress in Riley’s abilities with the ghosts and in her treasure hunt her aunt left behind.
Edison was a smart, lonely, and a bit traumatized hero. He came to Starfall Point to grieve and find his place in the world. I enjoyed watching him open up to Riley and learn to love again. Edison and Riley had a very sweet relationship and I really enjoyed how accepting Edison was of all the paranormal parts of Riley’s life. There was a third act break up in this, which seems to be a very common theme for a lot of Harper’s books, but I still enjoyed their relationship overall.
Overall, this was a really fun and interesting house. I am very eager to see what will happen in book two, especially to see if it will continue Riley’s adventure or be about one of her friends/coven mates.
