3 stars – I liked it

West has been wanting Sawyer for three years. Now he is trying to get over it by dating, but that isn’t going well either. Come to find out, Sawyer is apparently sabotaging his dates.

This was a good friends to lovers story. West has grown from the struggling young adult who was kicked out of his home, to a confident man who is a successful construction worker. I have always really liked West and loved seeing him finally fall in love. West was a sweet man who was always taking care of Sawyer.

Sawyer is fifteen years older than West and is the owner of Wooley’s. While I liked Sawyer, I found his obsession with West’s age to be very annoying. He constantly was pushing West away because he didn’t believe a twenty-six year old would have his shit together and actually be a bit of a home-body.

Overall, this was a good book, I just wish Sawyer had been less focused on age and more on West’s actions.
