I can’t believe are at the end of this series! It’s been wonderful to revisit Cat and Bones, and the rest of the gang. I had forgotten so much about this series that it was almost like I was reading this for the first time again, which was wonderful.
So much happens in this book! Cat and Bones finally have to deal with Madigan and his evil takeover. They unravel the truth about Don’s paranormal program, destroy a secret facility, find an unexpected surprise, and have to deal with the vampire council again. Like I said, a lot happens.
Cat and Bones really show how strong their relationship is in this one. There were a lot of emotional scenes but it just made their love stronger. They have some help on this mission from Ian, who is surprisingly growing on me, especially after the reveal of his family ties with Bones. I am very interested in reading Ian’s books now. Also, Mencheres just keeps getting better and better with each book. I love his surprisingly modern moments. They are always hilarious.
This whole book was an emotional rollercoaster ride of action and heartbreak. I couldn’t put it down. Even though I didn’t expect any of this at all, it was still a great ending for Cat and Bones. I really hope we see them pop up in future books, especially Katie. I really want to see future her.
