Title: Wolf Hunt
Author: Paige Tyler
Series: SWAT: Special Wolf Alpha Team #6
Pages: 343

Remy Boudreaux is back in his hometown of New Orleans for a week-long training with the NOLA PD. While prowling the French Quarter a tantalizing scent captures his attention and it leads him to Triana Bellamy, his high school crush.
This was a nice break from the Dallas adventures. Remy and Triana were childhood friends and they both had crushes on each other as teenagers but never acted on it. Their relationship is instantly intense and steamy. They waste no time getting together but they both still have emotional hang ups that get in the way eventually.
Remy is a protective alpha male who is determined to never open his heart to love again. He struggles with his feelings for Triana and pushes her away because of it. I liked Remy, even if he was being a bit of an idiot about his feelings. Triana was a wonderful heroine. She was smart, kind, and also determined to find her fathers killers. I really liked these two.
There was a lot of action in this book. Remy and the others help the local PD bring down a drug runner, who is also a threat to Triana and her mother. I enjoyed the mix of action and romance in this one and it made the book go by very quickly. Also, I really liked Triana’s mother.
Overall, this was a really great addition to the series. I enjoyed these two and their adventures in New Orleans.
Trigger Warnings: Violent death of a lover and parent. Brief discussions of rape and murder. Kidnapping.
