Title: The Tea Dragon Tapestry
Author: Kay O’Neil
Series: Tea Dragon #3
It’s been a year since Ginseng’s was entrusted to Greta and she is still mourning. While struggling to help Ginseng, Greta is also struggling to create something spectacular to impress a master blacksmith.
This was another wonderful addition to this series and continues Greta and Minette’s story. I really adore these two. Since the previous book they have both grown more confident in their abilities with the tea dragons and in blacksmithing, but they are struggling to deal with the changes happening to them. Minette is struggling to let go of her past and become the person she is meant to be. Luckily, she had some very supportive people around her like Erik and Hesekiel who have experience with this and could help her through it.
This one was a bit emotional. Ginseng really is grieving and it was so sad seeing this adorable animal unhappy. I really love how Greta tried to help the dragon through its grief and how she made sure it felt a part of her family. This book also showed Rinn and Aedhan in the present time. I love that they are a couple now and that they are having adventures together.
Again this was just a beautiful illustrated graphic novel with wonderful characters. I highly recommend this series to anyone who loves tea, dragons, and graphic novels. Also, I am totally buying physical copies of this series because it is just too beautiful not to have a physical copy of them.
