5 stars – I loved it!

Captain Jaime Callahan and his metahuman team have a new mission that involves them going undercover to infiltrate a criminal alliance. Jamie is putting his family, and their reputation on the line, but he knows its the best way to capture the enemies.

This book picks up a few months after the previous book ended. Jamie and Kyle have been together for a few months and are still keeping their relationship hidden. This new mission allows them to be together in public as part of their covers but they can handle it.

I loved how these two are so open and trusting with each other. They both understand why hiding their relationship is necessary and there aren’t any hurt feelings about it, which I appreciate. Also I loved that they finally admitted their feelings, finally!! I love these two so much.

This was another action packed mission for this team. There is a new addition to this team with this mission with Sean Delaney who has an interesting ability. I feel like he will definitely pop up in future books because there was something between him and Alexei. Also, I loved seeing Kyle and Alexei fully integrated in the team. It was like they had always been a part of Alpha Team.

Overall, this was a great continuation of Jamie and Kyle’s story. I am dying to pick up the next book now since there were still so many questions left unanswered.
