4 stars – It was really good

Commander Krampusarian D’Marchandar crash landed on K.R.S. Three, a primitive planet. While his ship is slowly repairing itself, he finds himself attracted to a beautiful woman who seems to be an outcast among her village.

This book was so much better than I was expecting. Krampus was such a sweet and adorable hero, especially with kids. I loved how protective he was of Jaelle and the kids. It was adorable seeing him struggle to maintain his control, especially since that is considered very bad manners on his planet. Krampus may have had a rigid upbringing but he quickly loses that around the kids and Jaelle. I loved it.

Jealle was an interesting heroine. She is the village herbalist but also is ostracized due to her ancestors’ actions. I like that while she may be an outcast she still tried to take care of the people, especially the women in the village. These two were a great couple and I love how steamy their relationship was.

Overall, this was a great holiday alien romance. I loved that there is an alien race that looks like Krampus.
