When Hellboy and Professor Bruttenholm find themselves stranded on an island, they are confronted by all kinds of monsters.
This was a cute comic with a kid Hellboy and the Professor. I really enjoyed having a story that focuses only on these two and not anyone else. These two find themselves on an island that is very reminiscent of Skull Island. It has giant monsters, including an ape, dinosaurs, and a hidden evil.
Young Hellboy is a chatterbox who still sees everything as an adventure. He isn’t jaded or mentally broken at this point. He is just a carefree kid who is excited to spend time with his father and have an adventure.
This comic definitely feels like it was geared more towards young adults but it was still a good one. I liked seeing this child version of Hellboy and him just having fun with the professor.
