4 stars – It was really good

Neecy Lawrence is second-in-command of the Crows, the followers of Skuld. While dealing with a group of hunters after their wings she keeps finding herself in the arms of the Raven leader Will Yager. Yager is determined to out stubborn Neecy and make her his.

Like most of Laurenston’s books, this was a humorous romance with an ass-kicking heroine. I really enjoyed Neecy and Will’s story. Neecy is dangerous, smart, protective, and very very stubborn. She is determined to use Will for his body and not let him into her heart but that doesn’t work out as she planned.

Will is a protective alpha male who is determined to win over Neecy. I loved that he never gave up on her and was sneaky about getting her to admit her feelings. He really was a great hero, even when he was being overprotective of Neecy.

Overall, this was a great romance filled with Norse mythology, bird shifters, and a lot of humor. I don’t know if she will continue with this series since she has a different series with Ravens and Crows now but I would love it if she did. Her characters are always so fun and dangerous that I can’t help but love every couple!
