Title: Venom in the Veins
Author: Jennifer Estep
Series: Elemental Assassin #17
Pages: 356

An enemy has returned from Gin’s past in this one. They are targeting her and Stuart Mosely, the president of First Trust bank. Gin also finds that this enemy has ties to the Circle and it brings up even more questions.
This was an intense one for Gin. The enemy is deadly and out for revenge, but Gin isn’t really on top of her game for this one. She is struggling with the past actions that lead to this event. She is also dealing with the fear that she is becoming one of the real monsters like Mab. Even with her internal struggle though, she still takes out her enemy in unique and unconventional ways.
In this book we learn more about the Circle and Gin’s parents. The revelations are shocking and unexpected, especially the big one at the end. I really can’t wait to pick up the next book and see how Gin and Bria deal with this new information about their parents.
