Author: Annabeth Albert
Pages: 226

When Paul Frost’s younger brother unexpectedly announced he would be visiting for Christmas, he finds he needs to somehow whip together a festive homecoming and fast. Good thing his next door neighbor Gideon Holiday is always ready for a holiday emergency and can whip up a color-coded plan to save Christmas.
This was a wonderful Christmas romance! This was my first Christmas book of this season and I think it was a great start. Gideon and Paul were an adorable couple!! I loved Gideon’s excitement for the holidays and decorating. His matching bow-ties were also great. Paul is the grumpy neighbor who doesn’t participate in the holiday cheer usually but Gideon awakens it again. I loved their relationship and how they helped each other overcome their past fears and find a new future.
Overall, this was a great Christmas romance with an adorable couple. I enjoyed everything about their relationship. Also I enjoyed all the side characters in this story, especially Paul’s brother Brandon. Their heartfelt moments were wonderful and just helped reinforce the message that family is more important during the holidays than things.
